Another end of the year list coming up your way. As part of the blog theme created by The Broke and the Bookish, today’s task is to create a list of the books I am dying to read in 2018. Obviously, my TBR pile is already full of books already published but for this list, I will stick to the ones that are going to be published in 2018. The order of the list is based on the date of publication and not my “waiting” levels.
This is probably one of the most hyped book I have come across in recent times across the blogging community. Though I have read only one book by Holly Black and wasn’t impressed, I really want to check out what this book is all about.
Even though the blurb of this new series sounds interesting enough, I totally got hooked onto this because of the gorgeous cover. STUNNING!!!!!!
This has been on my TBR for some time and I usually love reading books which revolve around books, libraries and book lovers. And the beautiful cover obviously helps.
Another series that’s about libraries and books and dragons. Can’t go wrong with that combination. I have been looking forward to this book since the day I finished The Burning Page.
The premise sounds interesting, cover looks cool and I also happened to receive the eARC for this book. So, I am looking forward to reading another new fantasy series.
Who wouldn’t want to read some more about the happily ever after story of Feyre and Rhys?????
After having so much fun reading When Dimple met Rishi, I am really excited to read this new book by Sandhya Menon. The cover again is AMAZINGGGGG and the blurb seems cool and fun and veryyyyy interesting.
The Caged Queen (Iskari#2) by Kristen Ciccarelli
I haven’t actually read the The Last Namsara yet but I definitely will and I am sure I will continue the series because it looks sooooo intriguing.
Throne of Glass 7 by Sarah J Maas
I don’t need a name or a cover to know that this is THE book I am looking forward to most in 2018. I am dying to know what is going to happen to Aelin and all my other favorite characters. But I am also sad that this wonderful amazing series is coming to an end.
After that heartbreaking cliffhanger in Lord of Shadows, all I could think was when can I read the next one. Waiting till December is so so difficult but I’ve got no choice. No more heartbreaks please (fingers crossed).
What are you guys waiting to read in 2018? Do hit me up with any recommendations!!!!
Such gorgeous covers! I really enjoyed the Cruel Prince. Read it in one sitting. I need to re-read the Throne of Glass series. I haven’t read the last two books!

I have so many 2018 releases I’m excited for. Seriously, there are like 13 books in January and then something like another ten or so in February.

It would be so much easier to read all of them if I could just get paid to read books and then write about them on my blog. lol. I mean, if I can read 130-150 books in a year while working a full time job, imagine how many I could accomplish if reading was my job. Isn’t that a dream a lot of us book lovers have?

Ohh I totally agree… Reading should be made a profession… it would be the best job in the world ❤️❤️❤️

I mean there are some book vloggers and such who do well enough with everything to somewhat live off their reading and videos. I’d like to do that with blogging. Or, I suppose I’d be all right trying to vlog. I just have reached the conclusion that I don’t think I can do both blogging and vlogging.

Well… whatever works best for you… but I hope that you are able to manage both and enjoy the experience… 😊😊

I’ve had several people tell me that the way I talk about books in real life makes them think I should start a YouTube channel, but with as much time as I spend not just reading, but also planning for the blog, and writing up blog posts, and reading/commenting on other blogs, I just don’t have the time right now to film and edit videos as well. Maybe someday. Besides, my blog is doing so much better than any blog I’ve had in the past, and I am so enjoying the experience as well as all the wonderful people I’ve met here in the book blogosphere.

Tat sounds awesome and I am glad you are having fun with your blog.. I only started blogging less than a year ago, so it’s still a new experience for me, but I have enjoyed interacting with book lovers like me… I never thought there were people who were as crazy as me about reading… I don’t think I would ever be able to vlog but I definitely hope you will do it someday…

I started this blog in January 2016, literally right after my paternal grandmother passed away. Since then it has been a wonderful outlet for me, and when I was feeling like a loser with no social life, I had my internet book friends to keep me company.

Ohhh it’s good that you found blogging as an outlet… Even I started mine coz I just wanted to put down my thoughts about my love for books n no one around me really understood that feeling…

There aren’t any big readers around me. I love books. I have created a life around them. I have a B.A. in Literature and a Master’s in Library Science. Online I have found other people I can fangirl over books and reading in general with, and that has made me a much happier person.

I’m sure you will. All I’ve met on the online book community are good people, many of whom I do consider to be friends now. I think we all know what it’s like to need/want to talk about books incessantly with others.
