This could potentially be a very long list because I totally overhauled my TBR in 2017, discovered lots of new books thanks to the book blogging community and booktube, and would have loved to devour all of them before the end of the year itself. But, alas, that didn’t happen. So, here I am, listing as part of the weekly meme by The Broke and the Bookish, some of the books that I have badly wanted to read for sometime now and some which I started but didn’t continue because I got distracted by others.
This fantasy series sounded very interesting and I really really wanted to get into it sooner but I just need to get out of my SJM hangover and Throne of Glass obsession.
I like reading historical fiction but this book still doesn’t fit into the kind of books I usually read. But the love this has across the community has definitely made me very interested in reading it.
I love this series and the adventures that I have been through with Jack West Jr have been amazing. But it’s been a few years since I read the last book, so I am having some hesitation in getting back to it. It’s been a year since this book has been lying on my shelf and I hope to read it soon.
Obviously, I bought the book as soon as it released and but it felt too big and intimidating to get into. Soon… very soon…
I actually read around 100 pages of this and then stopped coz I wasn’t prepared for such a powerful hard hitting book at the time. But I will start it again soon.
I have heard my favorite booktuber Sam @ Thoughts on Tomes gush so much about this book that I had to buy it, which I did. Just haven’t gotten to reading it yet.
Everyone seems to love this. I definitely want to find out what the whole hype is about.
I was on a binge read of various WWII related historical fiction books for sometime and then needed a break, so this book got pushed down my TBR. But I will definitely read it soon.
I love reading about Presidential politics and the mechanics of the West Wing – who wouldn’t after binge watching The West Wing multiple times???? So, this book is a definite must read on my list and I will take my time to read and remember this one.
I just discovered Victoria Schwab in 2017 and definitely wanted to continue with her previous books, just didn’t find time. I would like to read this book first before moving on to ADSOM.
I am sure all of you guys also have lots of books which you missed out on reading in 2017. Which ones do you want to read ASAP….?????
