Top Ten Tuesday: Books I could Re-read Forever

img_0924

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.

My TBR is a never ending well of books but that has never stopped me from rereading my favorites. I love going back to those books which have brought so much happiness and joy to my life and reliving those memories. Here I am now, bringing to you the list of books that always manage to get a smile on my face every time I go back to them.

The list is not in any order because I can never choose between these beauties.

Any time I need an escape from reality or a fix for my love of adventure, I just have to pick an old favorite by one of these authors and I know, I will not be disappointed.

These two are my favorite Austen novels and I love going back to the world of these amazing Victorian women and feel excited about their journey of finding true love. Best romance novels ever!!!!

Any time, any place, any season – Harry Potter never disappoints. Rereading atleast a couple of books from this series has become my yearly ritual now 🙂

I have already reread this a couple of times and I think I will again in the future because the Grishaverse is so fascinating and I don’t think I can ever get enough of the Darkling.

I am truly madly deeply in love with the duology but Crooked Kingdom is just too amazing and I could read this forever 🙂

This book is too beautifully written and I love going back to it to experience that giddiness of an all-consuming passionate love.

I love the characters in this trilogy so much and I have no choice but to reread it to experience their love again.

I can never ever get enough of my favorite detective. He is and will always be my first literary love.

I don’t think I will reread the series multiple times but ACOMAF is a whole different story. I could read about Rhys and Feyre and the Court of Dreams all the time forever.

I have already read this series sooooooo many times that I have lost count. These characters are my friends now and I can’t imagine my life without them in it.

Do you guys love rereading too or do you just want to get on with the new releases? What are your favorite reads that bring you some happiness when you need it?

    1. I want to read new ones too.. And I have this huge backlist… but I’m so moody and sometimes, I just need an old favorite to pick me up… These days, I also tend to put on an audiobook while trying to sleep, so that’s easier for a book I already read coz otherwise, I would concentrate on the new story and never go to sleep 😜😜😜

    1. I get you… Years ago when I was still in school, I got to buy 1 or 2 books a year.. So I always reread the hell out of them 😜😜😜 Can’t seem to lose that habit now even though have access now to more … Reliving the joy of experiencing an old favorite is always amazing 😊😊
