Top Ten Tuesday: Books on my Spring TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.

Spring officially starts today and I’m very excited and hopeful that the cold will go away soon and the sun will stay on longer. But today, we have a snow prediction and I hate it… So, let me cheer myself up by listing these awesome set of books that I want to read this season. However, I’m not really good at planning, so I might not even read any of these… but “Hope Springs Eternal“.

I have to read this in the next 10 days because I was lucky enough to get it from the library and if I don’t finish it before it expires, I’m never catching up with that monstrous waitlist anytime soon.

I’ve had this for so long but so many average reviews have just put me off. I started reading it this month but don’t find myself motivated to complete it. But, I am doing a March read-along with Stephanie @ Reader Fox and a Box of Books and I don’t want to abandon it.

I have loved the Sigma Force series for years now but lately, I’m not feeling it. I still wanna read this book soon coz I’m a loyal fan of Commander Grayson Pierce 🙂

A YA fantasy with a setting like the Vikings… sounds exciting right??? That’s what I thought. And I got the ARC from Netgalley. So, I’m definitely gonna read this before it’s release.

Another one that I have had since it released. Dan Brown books are always good for some excitement but this book just looks so intimidating on my bookshelf. I hope I will get to it soon.

This one seems like a fun contemporary dealing with important themes and I’m really excited to read a book related to fandom. Also helps that I have the ARC.

Listening to Dhonielle Clayton on podcasts and then live has definitely made me very very excited to read this book.

Talk about SRK, Raj and DDLJ… I’m squealing with excitement to get my hands on this one.

Jennifer is the first author I have ever spoken to in my life. It was an amazing feeling. And then she signed the book for me!!!!!! I just can’t wait to start reading this one.

I have tried every possible way to get my hands on the ARC for this book, but I failed. Now, I am just counting down the days for it’s release. This is my most anticipated books of this year because I just love Sandhya’s writing and reading about Indian-American MC’s in mainstream YA is surreal.

What books are on your Spring TBR? Are you interested in reading any of the books on my list? If  you have already rea them, do let me know your thoughts…

  1. You’ve got a great selection of books here! I’m dying to read Children of Blood and Bone! I just got my hands on a copy and it will definitely be the next one I read after this. And I hear great things about Sky in the Deep. I’m super excited to read that one too.

  2. I enjoyed Belles but it does seem to have provoked quite different reactions. I’ve not read Dan Brown for years but would quite like to pick up his book and see how I feel about his writing now.

    1. Ya Belles definitely has a whole spectrum of reviews… Have to figure out what I feel..
I have read all Dan Brown till now, so it’s more out of habit now than pure interest in the book ..

  3. Children of blood and bone is the best book I have read to date! It lives up to all the hype its been getting. The Belle’s I actually just finished. I liked it but the first half of the book had some intense world build that took me a while to get use to. Once you get setting in the book was wonderfully dark and thrilling. I am wanting to read Sky in the Deep as well can’t wait to see your thoughts on all of these books! Happy Reading 😊
