Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.

There are so many books on my TBR that I’m dying to read and would do mostly anything to get my hands on right now. I’ve also tried so many ways to get the ARCs but have been unsuccessful. I’ve resigned myself to waiting for them till the publishing date but I will still keep trying every possible opportunity to get an early copy.

I have only read one biography about this wonderful, amazing, inspirational First Lady but I’m so excited to read a book she has written herself. Michelle’s speeches have always been fiery and impassioned and I can’t wait to see what more she has in store for us.

I’m a huge fan of Austen retellings and have read quite a few good and bad ones. But this one is a diverse retelling of my favorite classic P&P and I’m super stoked to get my hands on it. And look at that gorgeous cover!!!

I haven’t read any of Adam Silvera’s books but Becky has quickly become a favorite go-to YA author and this book looks amazing. Another one whose ARC I didn’t get *sigh*

After thoroughly enjoying the shenanigans of Monty and gang in Gentleman’s Guide, I can’t wait to see what Mackenzi Lee has in store for Felicity. I also hope Monty and Percy show up.

Another book whose premise just blew me away. I have read some polarizing reviews for this one and I can’t wait to experience for myself this fantasy about two brave warrior queens.

Thankfully, this book is releasing in less than a month. After exhausting all avenues to get an ARC, I am just counting down the days when I can finally read it.

The Cruel Prince had such a mind-blowing ending that my expectations for this one are too high. I have already seen a few bloggers receive the ARC and I’m so jealous that I have to wait till next January to see more of Cardan and Jude.

Lord of Shadows broke my heart into a million pieces and I just hope that this book comes soon and hopefully, all will be okay in the universe *wishful thinking*

King Nikolai Lantsov of Ravka has a new book and I’m officially dying. And this cover is just as flashy as my beloved Nik is 😍😍😍 It’s gonna be a too long wait to read more about our favorite sassy broken pirate King.

(Spoilers) Everytime I think of this book, I want to cry imagining what Aelin is going through in the coffin. I’m sad that my favorite series is coming to an end but am also dying to know the fate of my most beloved characters. I just have a feeling this book will kill me.

What are some of your most anticipated reads? Are you waiting for any of the books on my list too? Do share your thoughts.
