Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.
These are my favorite kind of lists but also the ones I dread most… I mean, come on… I’m reading my 150th book of the year right now, so you can feel me when I say how difficult it is to choose ten favorites. But I’m definitely going to try. And please feel free to checkout my reviews for these wonderful books and motivate me to write more 😉😉😉
10. Not Your Sidekick by C. B. Lee
This was an entertaining read set in a dystopian future featuring diverse superheroes. I love the friendships here and the f/f romance was sooooo cute. And it has this underlying theme of what we believe vs what is actually true that is so relatable to our world and it adds a depth to an otherwise fun read. You can checkout my review here.
9. The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
A very cute contemporary high school romance that brought so much smiles to my face. And Max is a precious little bean who is a nerd and loves spending weekends in bookstores.. just like me. Read more about my feelings for this lovely story here.
8. Autoboyography by Christina Lauren
Wowww the feels in this book. It’s a beautiful love story that made me laugh and cry and feel so much. Tann and Seb are amazing characters and I really wanted to read more of their story. You can find my review here.
7. The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee
Now this is what you call a rollicking ride of a book. There is the fun trip through Europe, an adorable friendship turned romance and some fantastic chases by highwaymen and pirates. And who doesn’t love the charming Monty, adorable Percy and fiery Felicity. Click here to read more about me gushing about this wonderful book.
6. My So-Called Bollywood Life by Nisha Sharma
How would you feel when you see yourself represented so well on the page that you don’t want the story to end? That’s what happened to me with this one. This is the most I must have ever laughed while reading a book and I can’t wait to read it again and again. Find me here going on and on about how much I love this book.
5. Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
I don’t think I need to give any reason why I love this one. It’s too cute and adorable. Simon and Blue are the sweetest couple ever. Just go ahead and read this book and watch the movie and have fun..!!!!! And also don’t forget to read my review here.
4. Radio Silence by Alice Oseman
And what can I say about this book that I haven’t already. It’s all about the beauty of friendship, the quest of every youngster to be the best and the toxicity of the internet. You can find my very detailed review for this brilliant book here.
3. The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed
A must read YA feminist contemporary dealing with many important themes like misogyny, sexism, rape culture and so much more. Just go ahead and read this book. You can also find my review here.
2. Him / Us by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy
- Review: Him
I’ve read and listened to these books so many times, I’ve lost count. Definitely one of my all time favorites and the most wonderful best friends to lovers romance I’ve ever read. Wesmie forever 💖💖💖
Captive Prince Trilogy by C. S. Pacat
This trilogy is my new obsession…!!!!! Damon and Laurent are my ultimate OTP this year. This series has a captivating plot, amazing characters and the writing style just makes you not want to put down the book. Make sure you check out the trigger warnings for the first book before you dive into this wonderful fantasy world.
Reviews: Captive Prince / Prince’s Gambit / King’s Rising / Short Stories
I’m so excited to read about all your favorite books of 2018. Do we have any books in common? Let me know all your thoughts about these books or more…!!!!

Him/Us seems good! I might add it to my tbr for next month then 😊 also good for you to be on your 150th book! That’s my Goodreads goal for this year and I’m pretty far behind because I had a four month slump at the beginning. I’m trying to catch up though!

I was in a bit of a slump too but I read all day, so I was able to finish so many books already…
