I’m back and sorry for forgetting about this challenge for more than a week. I’ve had a slumpy week followed by a wonderful reading week 😀😀😀 If you want to check out my post for the letter F, click here.

Memorable Books Starting With “G”

I’m always talking about Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, so it’s not a surprise that its on this list. It’s fun and entertaining and ohhhhh so adorable..!!!!

I read very few mystery novels these days but The Good Liar was one of the few good ones from last year. Along with the mystery, we also get an intimate glimpse into the lives of three very realistic women who are trying their best to cope after the incidents at the beginning of the book. Definitely give this one a try.

If you like fairy tale retellings, you probably already know about Geekerella. It’s such a cute contemporary take on Cinderella and I especially loved the ode to fandom culture.

Books Starting With “G” On My TBR

An Asian inspired fantasy with an f/f romance…. What’s not to love about that..!!!! As I didn’t manage to get the ARC, I can’t wait for the release of Girls of Paper and Fire.

Girl Out of Water is exactly my kind of coming-of-age YA contemporary novel. And I love following Laura Silverman on Twitter… She’s funny and authentic and so awesome. Can’t wait to read this one.

Roshani Chokshi’s writing style hasn’t really worked for me till now but I still want to give The Gilded Wolves a try. And that cover is utterly gorgeous.

Have you read any of these books? Do give me your thoughts!!!

  1. I’d never heard of The Good Liar Before but it seems interesting! I’ve read both the other books and I love them so very much! ❤ I’m not a fan of contemporaries so Girl Out of Water isn’t on my TBR, but the other two certainly are. 😊
