MY HOUSE
I guess most of us would love to be in Gryffindor and I did too and then Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff. I was never upset about it though and I actually like it because it represents loyalty.
This is probably one of the hardest questions to answer because I want almost every one of these characters back. If I have to choose though, it’ll probably be Sirius, because his was the first death in the series that really affected me a lot.
SIRIUS BLACK | A BOOK WITH THE BEST FATHER/MOTHER FIGURE
YA is not really known for having great parental figures but I really really loved how involved and protective and wise Simon’s parents and Frances’s mom were in Simon vs and Radio Silence respectively.
SEVERUS SNAPE | A BOOK WITH A REDEEMABLE CHARACTER

Firstly, I don’t believe Snape is a redeemable character – he is just a relentless bully. But for this question, it will always be Laurent. It’s not easy find a character who goes from being a villain to the love interest in the span of the trilogy and that’s why Captive Prince is one of my favorite series of this year.
ALBUS DUMBLEDORE | A BOOK WITH A GREAT MENTOR/TEACHER
I really really love Coach Williams from the graphic novel series Fence. She has a great knack for figuring out the strengths and weaknesses of her students and gives them the right push and motivation when needed. But she is also blunt and never sugarcoats anything. I think all the boys and especially Nick are very lucky to have her as a Coach.
HEDWIG | A BOOK WITH A GREAT ANIMAL SIDEKICK
I really love Fleetfoot and Abraxos from Throne of Glass and Mister Kindly from Nevernight, but my favorite animal sidekick will always be Kiki from Magic Study – a horse who can communicate with Yelena and gives all kinds of hilarious nicknames to everyone, she’s just a delight to read about.
DOBBY | A BOOK WITH A CHARACTER WHO CREATED BAD SCENES ON ACCIDENT
Natalie’s over enthusiam and love for paleontology in Mammoth does make her do things that lead to some unintented disastrous consequences. Thankfully, she realizes her follies and gets time to reflect on her choices.
FRED WEASLEY | A BOOK WITH YOUR FAVORITE BROTHER/SISTER DUO
Josh and Emily from Christina Lauren’s super fun book Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating are a delightful brother/sister duo to read about. They tease and prod each other but are also very supportive and loving. It was refreshing to read about such a great sibling relationship.
NYMPHADORA TONKS | A BOOK WITH THE BEST FAMILY FEUD
I’m gonna take a different route and mention Magnolia in which the families are great friends and want to play matchmakers but it’s the kinds who have a feud going on. It’s a very fun enemies-to-lovers love story.
CEDRIC DIGGORY | A BOOK WHERE A CHARACTER DIED TOO YOUNG/TOO SOON
I wish I didn’t have to say this but despite being one of the best fantasies I’ve read this year, Nevernight has too many young characters who die untimely deaths and I never saw them coming.
REMUS LUPIN | A BOOK WITH YOUR FAVORITE SHAPESHIFTER
I just finished My Lady Jane recently and it’s full of some amazing shapeshifters. And if I have to choose, it will be Gifford – horse by day and human by night, initally indifferent but who comes to love and respect his amazing wife Jane.
What a great tag! That first one is such a hard decision to make..Sirius is good but I think I would have picked Remus, he was one of my absolute favorite characters.

I’m so glad you did this tag!! And I can’t believe that I didn’t even think of G when I was answering the shapeshifter question!

I had just finished My Lady Jane when I did this tag, so I couldn’t think of anyone except G 😊😊

Okay SAME about Sirius, would definitely be bringing him back. Though it’s a tough call between him and Lupin
