Netgalley Tag

Like all of you wonderful bloggers, I’m obsessed with Netgalley and always end up going on a requesting spree and never catching up to that elusive 80% mark. So, it felt quite exciting to be tagged for this one by Mandy @ Devouring Books. Do checkout their blog for more wonderful reviews and bookish posts.

The Rules:

  • Link back to the tag’s creator, Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.
  • Thank and link back to the person who tagged you
  • Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
  • Tag a few people to do this tag too.

NetGalley Questions

AUTO-APPROVED: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they are about?

There are a lot of authors whose books I would read just by looking at their name, but some of them are Leigh Bardugo, Robert Jackson Bennett, Sarina Bowen, Sandhya Menon, Nisha Sharma, Sarah J Maas, Mary Pearson etc.

REQUEST: What makes you want to request a book on NetGalley?

I’m usually not very enamoured by good looking covers, so my first preference is for books written by authors I’ve already read and loved. Also books that are being talked about in the bookish community.

BADGES: If you could create one badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

I think I really like Mandy’s answer for this one… Quality of Reviews. It would feel wonderful to know what others think about my reviews because those are the posts I really love writing.

WISH FOR IT: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

Ohhh God that’s a huge huge list and about half my Goodreads TBR shelf is filled with 2019 releases and I have been rejected for most of their ARCs 😭😭😭. But these are definitely the ones I’m really waiting for the most.

2018 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE: What was the last ARC that you reviewed?

The last couple of months have been great in the sense that I have been able to review some advance copies that I really wanted to and it’s been a wonderful experience. Some of the most memorable ones are Game Changer, Unmarriageable, The Whispered Word, Mammoth, Rend etc. Feel free to checkout my reviews by clicking on the links.

I apologize for not tagging anyone but if you are interested, please do it and link back to me so that I can checkout all your awesome answers !!!!
