The ABC Book Challenge | “K”

After the struggle that was to find books for the letter J, this post has been a blast because I have some of my most favorite books to share. So, get ready for a lot of gushing.

Memorable Books Starting With “K”

As you all know, Daniel Silva’s Gabriel Allon series is one of those old nostalgic favorites whose new installment I wait for year after year. And The Kill Artist is where it all started and Gabriel will always be one of my favorite spy heroes.

If you have ever listened to Dan Savage speak, you know how politically incorrect and offensive he can be but he is also equally funny. The Kid is a fun but emotional memoir of Dan and his partner Terry’s journey from deciding to adopt till they bring their baby home. It’s an endearing story that will make you laugh, cry and take offense all at once but you wont regret reading it.

Obviously this post will be incomplete if I don’t mention Kingdom of Ash, the bittersweet finale of my obsession for the past year. I wept a lot while reading this one and I was exhausted by the end, and I’m really really sad that it’s over… but I’m also glad that most of my babies are okay.

King’s Rising is another finale that absolutely blew my mind this year and I can confidently say that the Captive Prince trilogy will always be one of my favorite series of all time. Damon and Laurent are just 💖💖💖

Another YA fantasy that swept me away last year and that I binge read in a couple of days is The Remnant Chronicles and it all began with The Kiss of Deception. Lia, Rafe and Kaden are some of most wonderful characters ever.

Books Starting With “K” On My TBR

My most anticipated book of 2019 written by the Queen Leigh Bardugo, King of Scars can’t come soon enough. Nikolai is one of my favorites from the Grisha trilogy and I can’t wait to see what he is upto as King of Ravka.

Furyborn was a book that I had huge expectations of and it didn’t really live up to them, but I’m still invested in the story enough to want to read Kingsbane. And the cover is too enticing.

All of you will agree when I say that The Kiss Quotient is probably one of the most popular romances of this year and I’m actually surprised that I haven’t read it yet. But very soon.

What do you think of these books? Please share your thoughts too !!!!

  1. I haven’t read any Sarah J Maas but I see her books being talked about all over twitter, book blogs and booktube. I need to get round to reading some of her works! X
