TTT: Backlist Books I Want to Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.

At the beginning of this year, I had a huge backlist of books that I was planning to read, but like all the plans I make, I abandoned it because I’m too much of a mood reader to stick to a list. That means I still have a never ending backlist and below are just some of those.

anemberintheashes

I have always wanted to begin this series and even recommended to one of my close friends. She’s already done and loved it , but I’m still here with no idea why I haven’t read it yet.

A favorite among the community, I have a feeling I will love this one and will definitely be weeping a lot. Hopefully, I will finally read it as part of Mythothon this month.

Moxie

I have wanted to read Moxie since meeting and having a great converstion with the author Jennifer. I also have a personalized copy of the book which I love.

I’m usually not one to buy physical books without atleast reading one in a series, but I did buy this trilogy because I trust Sam @ Thoughts on Tomes recommendations.

I was so excited to read this book even before it released and then read around 100 pages, but put it aside because I wasn’t feeling it. But I will definitely get to it again.

sevenhusbands

Another universally loved book, I have absolutely no reason for not having read it yet.

fourlegendarykingdoms

The book that’s been on my TBR the longest, I vow that I will read it this month as part of Mythothon because I also need to review the ARC of it’s sequel before it releases next month.

Godsgrave

After having loved Nevernight, the only reason I haven’t started this one is because of the impending cliffhanger and the looooong wait for Darkdawn.

QoG

I absolutely adored The Brightsiders by Jen Wilde this year, so I really want to read her most popular book.

Origin

I bought this one as soon as it released, but it’s intimidating and huge and probably why I haven’t picked it up yet. Hopefully soon.

Have you read any of the books on my list? Do share your thoughts!!!!

  1. This is a great list! I loved An Ember In the Ashes, as well as Queens of Geek, I hope you’ll get to read them soon and will love them, too 😀
I haven’t read Evelyn Hugo either, but I’m looking forward to doing so, it sounds amazing 😀

  2. The Song of Achilles and The Power have both been on my radar for a long time. Not sure why I have not picked them up myself. When you get to Origin I am curious to see what your thoughts are on it. I have read all the books in that series and this last one kinda through me for a loop.

Now your feedback about Origin is making me quite interested in picking it up soon but it’s so huge to look at and scares the hell out of me 😂😂😂

  3. I finished Moxie just last week. And I think it was the perfect fit for the current social environment across the globe. It was so inspiring that I was moved, which happens really rarely.
