The ABC Book Challenge | “L”

I actually thought I won’t be able to find many books with the letter L but I was surprised to find a substantial amount of books on my shelf. So, here I am and let’s get started.

Memorable Books Starting With “L”

Despite not being a huge fan of the Mortal Instrtuments series, I still love Cassie’s writing and completely adore the Dark Artifices series. Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows are in an awesome league of their own and I can’t wait for the finale.

I will read anything that Leigh Bardugo writes and though I don’t enjoy fairy tales much, I bought The Language of Thorns and I have to say, it’s one of the most gorgeous books on my shelf – both inside and out. The darkness of the stories and the beautiful illustrations complement each other well and I could just stare at the book.

I love the complete Sigma Force series but The Last Oracle is definitely a favorite and it was one where I was really scared for the characters.

The Law of Tall Girls is one of those books which I just stumbled upon and I’m so glad I did, because I relate so much to the main character’s struggles of being an awkward tall teenage girl. It’s a book that made me very nostalgic.

Anyta Sunday writes very sweet romances and I’ve read many of them but my favorite will always be Leo Loves Aries – Jamie and Theo are just too adorable.

Books Starting With “L” On My TBR

I have started and abandoned The Last Namsara a couple of times but I am confident I will read it one day because I love dragons.

Gentleman’s Guide is one of the most entertaining books I read this year, so I am not going to miss reading The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy. Also, I need little glimpses of the most adorable couple Monty and Percy.

I’m not that much of a reader of adult fantasy and The Lies of Locke Lamora does intimidate me, but I still feel I should give this one a try because Locke gives me too much of Kaz Brekker vibes.

Ash Princess was an impressive debut of 2018 and I can’t wait to read what the author has in store for Theo in Lady Smoke. And I absolutely adore the covers.

Have you read any of these books? Please feel free to share your thoughts!!!
