Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.
There are as always too many books on my TBR and it’s difficult to limit such a list to 10. So, I’m just going to pick some of my most anticipated releases this winter and the ARCs that I will hopefully be able to read in the upcoming weeks.
Feminist YA contemporaries are my new favorite subgenre and this book seems so interesting. Some of the reviews also mention that it has great intersectional feminism and I’m very excited to read this ARC.
I’m always up for a book set in the US featuring Indian American protagonists and this is one of those. The book also seems to have some Pride and Prejudice vibes and that’s just icing on the cake.
25 stories set in a futuristic America shaped by justice, equity and joy, written by amazing POC authors seems like a perfect read for any season and I’m so glad to have been approved for the advance copy.
This might not have released yet but too many people (who are not me) have already read the ARC and given amazing reviews to this book. So, I have no choice but to wait for the release day to be able to see what more Holly has in store for us.
Waiting for Rollins’s next book in the Sigma Force series is almost like an yearly ritual and I’m very excited for it while also feeling equally anxious because of the very scary blurb.
I’ve never actually completed a Roshani Chokshi book before coz I felt that the writing didn’t work for me. But this book feels different and the representations seem amazing and I would love to give it a try.
My most anticipated release of 2019 and one I’m sure I will read and probably finish on the day of the release. There will be no sleeping until I know how Nik and Nina are doing.
Even though I felt pretty average about Ash Princess, I still think it was a good debut and am quite interested to know what’s next for Theo.
This is part of another one of my action/adventure thriller series which I like reading every year and I’m happy to have the ARC in hand.
The Chase was some of most fun I had reading this year and Brenna was a good part of it. So, I’m very very excited to read her book and think this is going to be a very hot and sexy enemies to lovers story.
Are any of these books on your TBR too? Which ones are you most excited to read? Please share your thoughts and recommendations !!!
