Hello everyone…. As this year comes to an end, the whole community is abuzz with making plans for the next year and I have decided to jump on the bandwagon too. I’m not usually a planner, so my goals are going to be pretty abstract.
Goodreads Reading Challenge
This year, I increased my challenge from 130 to 150 but I am almost on the verge of completing my 300th read of the year… so that has gone well. However, that doesn’t mean I’m going to set a huge target for 2019 – I think I am gonna remain reasonable and stick to 150. Anything above a 100% just makes me feel very satisfied 😀😀😀
I’m not someone who is looking at stats daily or making lots of plans for the blog; I am mostly just playing by the ear.
I would however, love to cross the 1000 follower mark on my blog. I also want to always have atleast a week’s worth of posts scheduled ahead… which is gonna be tough to do.
I have my first ever blog tour scheduled for March and if I enjoy the experience, I might decide to do more of those.
And finally, I just happened to touch the elusive 80% on my Netgalley last week and I’m going to try very hard to keep it up.
Stars and Sorcery Book Club
My dear friend Nandini is starting her new Stars and Sorcery Book Club from January where we are going to read one SFF book per month written by a diverse author. For more details, checkout her post here.
Around the Year in 52 Books
There are lots of yearly challenges that many bloggers are participating in for the next year, but I have been feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of them. I did see this one on Liz’s blog and have decided that this might be one I would find interesting enough and probably one I can complete. Below are the challenges and I will keep updating the list as soon as I finish them on my page here. You can find more details for this challenge at the Goodreads group here.
What are your goals for the upcoming year? Any challenges you are participating in? Let me know all the deets !!!!
