Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This year has so many wonderful releases, some of them I have already mentioned many many times in my previous posts. So, I will pick two anticipated releases per month that I’m very excited for; hopefully ones that I haven’t talked about before.
JANUARY
Match Me If You Can – High school, match making service and a love triangle. How can I not read it!!!
96 Words for Love – I never thought I would hear about a YA modern retelling of the legend of Shakuntala and Dushyanta. But here it is and I can’t wait to read it.
FEBRUARY
We Set the Dark on Fire – Finishing school for girls, resistance and forbidden love. Seems like my kinda book.
Immoral Code – Modern YA Robin Hood style heist story which is being touted as Ocean’s 8 meets The Breakfast Club. I also have the ARC, so I’m doubly excited to read this one.
MARCH
Night Music – A coming of age, inter-racial rom com set in the world of Classical music in New York sounds adorable.
The Secret Runners of New York – Matthew Reilly is writing YA and it has time travel in it… There’s no way I can resist this one!
APRIL
Forward Me Back to You – A cross border and generational story of the ripple effects of violence and small acts of kindness – seems like this will be a profound read.
The Red Scrolls of Magic – MALEC!!!! That’s it. I need no other reason.
MAY
These Witches don’t Burn – High school, witches and a probable f/f/f love triangle; not gonna miss this one.
Her Royal Highness – A sapphic boarding school royal romance; the love story that I didn’t know I needed but now feel that the wait is too long.
JUNE
Virtually Yours – Modern love, dating apps and another love triangle 😀😀😀
Red, White and Royal Blue – A gay rom com featuring the First Son and the British Prince; just reading the blurb made my day. Can’t wait for the book.
Do you have any of these books on your TBR? Also let me know of any other excting YA releases in 2019..!!!
Literally none of these were on my TBR and now I’m going to add them all. 😂 Very excited for the Shakuntala and Dushyanta retelling as well as the new Mitali Perkins book. 💖

You’re welcome!! It’s going to be a great one! I still need to read Queen of Air and Darkness. I got it for Christmas though and we had family leave just a few days ago. So…. that’s my excuse! haha
