Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.
Thank God for Goodreads, otherwise this topic would be difficult to answer because I’m always adding more and more to my neverending TBR, especially thanks to all you fellow bloggers promoting more awesome books everyday. These are some that have recently made it to my list and I hope I will still read them after they release 😁😁😁
This is a recent addition to my TBR but I would read it right this second if it had already released in the US. I am do disappointed that it still doesn’t have a release date and maybe I just have to travel to India to get a copy in my hands. Chitra’s The Palace of Illusions is one of the most amazing retellings I have ever read and I can’t wait to read the retelling of the Ramayana from Sita’s perspective.
Bloom seems like the perfect kind of cute young adult graphic novel that I love and I hope it’s as adorable as I expect it to be.
We Contain Multitudes is giving me lots of Simon vs vibes with the concept of friendship and love developing through letters. Looks like it might be more emotional too. And that cover is gorgeous.
I did enjoy the writing style of Rachel Reid in Game Changer and I am always excited to read more hockey romances these days. Hopefully, Heated Rivalry will be just as fun.
I love books with assassins and The Perfect Assassin promises to be quite interesting with one reluctant assassin trying to find the murderer who is killing all the other assassins. Can’s wait to read what it’s all about.
I don’t even know why The Gown is on my TBR because I haven’t read any of the author’s books before, but it just seems like fascinating premise. Let’s see if I will ever actually get to it.
I have been wanting to read atleast one book by Bill for quite some time now and hopefully I will pick up The Music of What Happens soon.
I completely adored Queer Eye on Netflix and it’s always exciting to know more about the Fab Five. I obviously do feel a connect with Tan because he is desi (watch Tan’s Netflix promo with Hasan Minhaj and you’ll know what I’m talking about), so reading his memoir Naturally Tan is going to be very fascinating.
I am a huge Robert Jackson Bennett stan and I didn’t even know this novella Vigilance was releasing this month. The premise seems like a horrible dystopian future and I can’t wait to see how much he is going to terrify me.
I have really come to appreciate anthologies in the past year and Take The Mic seems exactly like what we need. In this age, we definitely need as many stories of resistance as possible and I can’t wait to see what these amazing group of authors have in store for us.
Are any of these books on your TBRs too? Let me know your thoughts and recommendations are always welcome !!!!
Good luck with these!

Since we talked about Tan France in our group, I haven’t been able to stop watching Queer Eye – I’m now on season 2. And love it so much! I’ll put this book on my wish list too now! 🙂

Bloom sounds so cute but I never read graphic novels so I don’t know how I will like it…

Hahaha I know the problem!! I’m looking forward to pay-day on Monday 😂. I’m no longer a member of my library since I have to pay now and I don’t go enough for that… (And since I have 44 unread books at home haha)
