Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Samantha and you can get more details at the Goodreads group.
I obviously have a lot of books on my mind that I would love to read and my iPad and Kindle are full of many unread books, but I tend to ensure that my TBR shelf on Goodreads is not huge because it makes me very anxious. So, every few months I end up cleaning up the shelf to keep it manageable and below are some of them that I deleted recently.
This is a very very beloved duology in the community and I happen to own the books too, but I don’t think I will be getting to them anytime soon. The characters sound interesting but it feels like the poetic writing style might not work for me.
I own this trilogy too and I actually bought this on the recommendation of Sam, but I have lost interest in it now and don’t know if I will ever pick it up.
I bought the first book the day it released because how I can resist dragons and I even read a part of it, but I didn’t feel the magic. I am not that particular about continuing it anytime soon.
I don’t like Sci-Fi and the only reason I have this trilogy on my TBR is because of it’s unique format and the excellent full cast audiobooks, but despite these fascinating aspects, I don’t think I want to pick up a science fiction book anytime soon.
Pod Save America is a cool podcast and that’s the reason I wanted to read this book initially, but I don’t think I’m in the right headspace to dive into hardcore political books anymore.
Do you remove books from your TBRs too? Are there any books that you have recently lost interest in? Do share your lists with me and let’s discuss !!!
Personallt I loved illuminae series and the last namsara! But of course, if it’s not for you then why keep them haha

🙈🙈 I have the Winners trilogy, The Last Namsara and Obsidio on my shelves waiting to be read but of these, I’m only sure that I’ll be picking up Obsidio this year. The others I will try to…😜

I love The Winner’s Series and actually thinking of re-reading them. Hopefully you will consider reading them in the future..

I regularly remove books from my TBR now, specially if a very hyped book is released and all the reviews turn bad. And also a lot of series I never know if I’ll finish or should quit

Me too… a huge number on my Goodreads TBR shelf kinda scares me 😜😜

I still have like 360 books which I think is a lot, but it’s an ongoing project haha. I really struggle if there’s a book that I’ve wanted to read for like three years and I can’t remove it before giving it a try because what if it’s amazing?

Haha I can understand the struggle… but I tend to read a lot which I happen to discover but never add to my tbr too… so that’s why I keep my goodreads shelf to just about 150… anything more and I’ll probably drown in disappointment that I’ll never read them 😜😜😜
