Book Blogger’s Two Truths and a Lie

Tags are always a lot of fun to do and I depend on them so much when I don’t have many reviews to write. Ironically, that’s why you haven’t seen many tags on my blog recently because I’ve been a good girl and written many book reviews. However, Gayatri @ Elgee Writes tagged me on this very fun tag and after seeing so many versions of this in celebrity interviews, I’m quite excited to do a bookish version of it. So, let’s get started.

How To Participate

  • Create a post with your two bookish truths and one bookish lie – but be sure to keep it a secret so your readers can guess!
  • Reveal the lie in a spoiler at the bottom of your post (you can use this HTML code! Just change the “S” in Summary to a lowercase)

Two Truths and a Lie

And here come my two truths and one lie. Let’s see how many will pick the right one.

> I added all of my 2018 reads to Goodreads.

> I quit reading romance novels for a long time before I picked them up again in 2017.

> I don’t like bookstagram very much.

I Tag

Sara @ The Bibliophagist

Prachi @ Starry Eyed Enigma

Tova @ Petyr Baeish Books

My Birthday Twin Rain @ BookDragonism

Leslie @ Books are the new Black

Virginia @ The Sassy Library Fox

Jennifer @ JenChaos Reviews

Jasmine @ Jasmine’s Reading

And Here Comes the Answer

Reveal the Lie

The first one..!! I read 300 books last year according to my GR profile, but I do tend to not add some reads which I still (unfortunately) consider my guilty pleasure. Most of them tend to be steamy reads/erotica and I’m going to try hard to not do it this year. I really want to get rid of the “guilty pleasure” notion completely.

So how many of you were able to guess the lie? Let me know in the comments…!!!!

And if I haven’t tagged you but want to try out this tag, please feel free to do so and link back to me so I can check it out.

  1. Thanks for the tag! What a fun one! I totally guessed right! Mostly, bc I realized that I forgot to post so many reviews on Goodreads! It’s hard to keep track of everything, especially, when I schedule posts in advance! So I didn’t think that one would be too far off for you! 🙂

I haven’t read fifty shades of gray, but I didn’t mind the movies at all.. lol

    1. Haha… right. !!! I’m trying to not use the word guilty pleasure because why should we feel guilty about such books or movies but it’s not easy.. I don’t add quite a few romance books that I read 😂😂 and I didn’t mind FSOG movies too 😜😜😜
