The Romance Reader Tag

I was tagged for this by Siobhan @ Novelties on Valentine’s Day, and even though I’m late, I’m excited to do this one. I have been more of a romance reader than anything else this past year, so this tag is perfect for me.. !!!! Let’s get started…

What Age Did You Start Reading Romance Novels?

I’m not exactly sure but I was probably 14-15 and my first introduction to romance in books was Jane Austen.

If You Could Pick One Hero to Meet from Your Favourite Romane Novels, Who Would It Be and Why?

This is a very tough question because I have so many favorite romance novels. But I think I would love to meet Lia and Rafe from the Remnant Chronicles.

Who Are Your Favourite Romance Authors and Why?

This is a huge list but on the top of my head… Elle Kennedy, Sarina Bowen, C. S. Pacat, Mary Pearson and Lily Morton. They all have different writing styles but they write wonderful and very memorable characters whom I fall in love with instantly.

What Is a Favourite Romance Novel to Reread?

The two romance novels I’ve reread the most in the past year are The Deal and Him. Both the book and the audiobook are excellent and perfect for rereads.

What Book Would You Recommend to a Non-Romance Reader?

This is a very tough question but I would recommend based on their favorite genres:

YA Contempory: First & Then by Emma Mills

Fantasy: The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson

Suspense/Thrillers: Death and the Devil series by L. J. Hayward

Historical Fiction: The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare

Which Is Your Favourite: Contemporary, Suspense, or Historical and Why?

While I do like all these genres and have developed a very recent fascination for romantic suspense, I will always love Contemporary Romance more than anything else.
