If you all know me at all by now, it’s that I never stick to TBRs ever and that sometimes makes me feel very disorganized. But I can’t help being a mood reader, so I will have figure out a way to read the books I really want to. Below are some of the books I really want to read in the next couple of months and I hope I will 😃😃😃
ARCs on my Spring TBR
I have a kind of love-hate relationship with Christina Lauren, but I still always feel excited to read their next book and the enemies-to-lovers trope in The Unhoneymooners sounds very interesting.
I’m always excited for more Jane Austen retellings and Ayesha At Last is a Muslim P&P retelling with rave reviews and I can’t wait to read it.
I’ve only read one book by Katherine Center before which I thought was okay, but Things You Save In a Fire seems to tell a story about a strong woman trying to make it in a predominantly man’s profession and I’m very excited to know more.
The Marriage Clock seems like a interesting take on dating and marriage in a desi Muslim family and I have a feeling I’m gonna love it.
New and Upcoming Releases on my Spring TBR
I have heard the name Octavia Butler in the community a lot, but I’m not one to read classics much in any genre, so I wasn’t planning on this book. But my lovely friends in the Stars and Sorcery Book Club selected Kindred as our March BOTM and I can’t wait to pick it up sometime this week.
I’ve been rejected for the ARC of There’s Something About Sweetie in all possible avenues, so all I have to do now is wait for a couple of months before this baby is my hands. I just know it’s gonna be the most adorable book ever.
The Alice Network was an amazing book and it’s probably one of the last books I read set during the World Wars. So, I think it’s going to be fascinating to revisit the time period again in The Huntress because I know Kate Quinn would have done a great job.
Another ARC that I’m not getting, The Tiger at Midnight is one of my most anticipated books of this year and I think it’s going to be fantastic.
We Set the Dark on Fire seems so fascinating and I want to read it now, but I’m just waiting for my library copy to arrive.
I’ve read so many books by now in the Shadowhunter Universe but Magnus and Alec will always be the most special couple and I can’t wait to finally read their first book, The Red Scrolls of Magic.
Small Town Hearts seems like the perfect Spring read and I have it on good authority (obviously you Nandini) that it has lots of coffee and baking and my mouth is already watering. Thank god it’s releasing today !!!!!
Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What are some other books on your Spring TBR? Please hit me up with your recommendations…
