April is going to be such a wonderful month with lots of great books releasing and I can’t wait to read them all 😍😍😍 While I have already completed a few awesome ARCs, there are more I want to read after they are out and I’m very excited to talk about them today.
Nisha Sharma’s sophomore novel The Takeover Effect is a delightful romance novel featuring desi characters with a dose of mystery and corporate espionage and it was sooooo much fun to read. I can’t wait for everyone else to read this too, so we can all gush about it.
After reading Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows, it was inevitable that I would be reading The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters too and I was so happy to receive the ARC. This is a very interesting picture of the dysfunctional relationship between three sisters and how they find more ways to connect with each other through the course of their journey across North India.
Arctic Sun was a sweet and angsty romance to read, but my favorite part was the setting of Alaska. The location itself felt like a whole character and it’s just described so beautifully that anyone who reads this book will want to visit there soon.
I did my first ever blog tour for Wicked Saints and it was such a fascinating book to read. With very compelling characters, an amazing heroine/villain dynamic and a very unique plot revolving around a religious war and blood magic, this is a wonderful debut novel and I would love everyone to read it.
I just finished reading Descendant of the Crane a few days and wow did it blow my mind. The twists and turns in this book are just phenomenal and I never saw them coming. I can’t wait to share my review with you all closer to the release date and I highly recommend this book to all fantasy lovers.
As I have mentioned so many times before, I love Magnus and Alec as a couple and I’m so glad that we are finally getting their book The Red Scrolls of Magic. I have a feeling this is going to be a lot of fun.
I have not read any books by Mitali before but I have heard many good things and I would really love to read latest release Forward Me Back To You.
An Indian inspired YA fantasy is a dream come true and I’m so glad we have options now too. The Tiger at Midnight is one of my most anticipated releases of this year and I’m so excited it’s release is near. I can’t wait to read it.
Geekerella was such a cute read and I hope The Princess and the Fangirl will equally be full of swoons and fluff and will make me smile.
What are some of your most anticipated releases of April? Have you read any of the books on my list? Do share your thoughts in the comments below.
