Quick Fire Fantasy Tag

img_0271

Fantasy is my most favorite genre, though I do tend to read much less of it these days. So, when I saw this tag on Chloe’s blog The Elven Warrior, I couldn’t resist. All I have to do is try to answer with some newer books rather than the same olf fantasy novels I tend to always gush about. Let’s get started…!!!!

This tag was orignally created by thebookwormdreamer, so all credit to them!

5 Star Book

Aru Shah and the end of time

I’ve only read quite a few fantasy novels this year, and this happens to be my first middle grade fantasy ever, but Aru Shah and the End of Time was a five star read for me because of it’s delightful characters and fun plot.

Always Going to Recommend

Shadow of the fox

This is one of my newest discoveries but I loved it very much and I would like everyone to read Shadow of the Fox.

Own it but Haven’t Read it Yet

Three dark crowns

I bought the first two books in this series during a sale and even started to read, but it just didn’t make me feel interested enough to continue.

Would Read Again

foundryside

I finally made my first physical book purchase of this year, and it happens to be my favorite book of 2018 Foundryside. And since Shorefall isn’t gonna release until next year, I have a perfect reason to read this one again.

In Another World

Vow of thieves

Obviously, most of the fantasies I read take place in another world but one upcoming release which I am very excited to read is Vow of Thieves.

Back on Earth

red scrolls of magic

I rarely read urban fantasy but one I can’t stop are the books set in the Shadowhunter universe. One of my recent reads was The Red Scrolls of Magic and it was so much fun, I was smiling all throughout.

This was such fun to do. I’m not tagging anyone but if you are interested, please do the tag and link back to me so I can see all your wonderful answers !!!!

  1. Oh my gosh I love this!! I always have to try and balance my tags so fantasy doesn’t overwhelm my answers as it is 90% of what I read, but this sounds like the perfect tag to rectify that. I was somewhat horrified that I hadn’t heard of the majority of these – definitely need to rectify that!
