Hello my dear fellow bloggers…!!! It’s another week and I’m back with another tag for which I haven’t been tagged. But seeing this on Bookishly Rebecca really excited me and I just had to do it. Do checkout their blog for more awesome bookish content.

1. YOUR MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE OF THE YEAR
A House of Rage and Sorrow has been my most anticipated release of this year, but since I’ve already read and adored it (review coming up next week)… my next most awaited book is Julian Winters’s sophomore novel How to Be Remy Cameron. Running With Lions was one of my favorite summer reads of last year and I can’t wait to see how much more awesome this one is going to be.
2. A BOOK YOU’RE NOT ANTICIPATING
While I didn’t like The Wicked King a lot, there’s only one book left and I know I will read the finale. But I’m really not very excited for The Queen of Nothing like everyone else.
3. MOST UNDERHYPED ANTICIPATED RELEASE
After finishing the brilliant Bone Witch trilogy, I can’t believe that no one is talking more about the author’s upcoming release The Never Tilting World.
4. A BOOK YOU’VE BEEN WAITING ON FOREVER!
It feels like I’ve been waiting for this book for almost an year now and it’s still a couple of months away. I’m just so excited to read all the amazing and powerful stories of resistance.
5. A BOOK YOU’RE ANTICIPATING THAT’S OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
An adult fantasy with necromancers seems very very far away from the kind of books I usually read, but every single one of my fellow bloggers who has read it seems to fall in love immediately and I just wanna give it a try.
6. YOUR TOP 3 “CAN’T-WAIT” BOOKS OF THE YEAR
Desi rom-coms are totally my jam and I’m always very happy when more authors are arriving on the scene. Nandini Bajpai’s debut A Match Made in Mehendi feels very cute and I can’t wait to read it.
Dance of Thieves was a 5 star read last year and I’m thrilled to dive back into Kazi and Jase’s story very soon.
I’m finally hoping to complete my read of Godsgrave this month so that I’m all mentally prepared for the release of Darkdawn.
7. TOP 5 MOST ANTICIPATED BACKLIST BOOKS ON YOUR TBR
I’m very bad at picking backlist books but Jade City is currently on everyone’s radar, so I’m trying to read it right now.
An Ember in the Ashes has been on my TBR for way too long but I have never been able to make myself actually read it. I hope I can do it this year.
I have started and stopped Darius the Great is Not Okay many many times and I know I’ll probably fall utterly in love with it, but I just have to push through a little.
I was so excited to read Vigilance before it released, but it never felt like the right time to pick it up. Hopefully I’ll read it soon because I don’t want to miss out on any of Bennett’s books.
I’m totally unsure if The Lies of Locke Lamora is my kind of book but many of my friends really enjoyed reading it and I definitely want to give it a try.
