Hello dear friends…!!!! And a Happy Independence Day to all my fellow Indians across the world. It’s time for another tag today. I saw this one being done by Hamad @ The Book Prescription and I couldn’t resist. What better way to get to know me than through my favorite books… So, let’s get started 🙂
Favourite Book of All Time
I absolutely completely adore Queen of Shadows. It is probably one of the most perfect (IMO) fantasy books I’ve ever read.
Favourite Book Five Years Ago
My answer would always have been HP a few years ago, and Order of the Phoenix is my favorite of the series.
Favourite Duology / Trilogy / Series
Duology – Six of Crows…. because nothing else can come close.
Trilogy – Very recent addition to my favorites list but it’s The Bone Witch trilogy.
Series – If you know me at all, this is obvious. Throne of Glass.
Last Book You Read
I just finished reading this book yesterday, and I was pretty disappointed because I didn’t love it as much as I did the author’s previous trilogies. But I have to mention that this book has some of the most mouth watering delectable descriptions of food/wine and made me very very hungry.
Last Book of Poetry I Read
My only poetry read of this year, I picked this up last weekend because it’s Read-India-Thon this week and I was very very impressed.
What Book Influenced Your Life
The longest epic of the world, the Mahabharata. It’s difficult not to have been influenced by this amazing story when I have read so many versions of it since childhood.
Book That Made You Ugly Cry
I was so glad I read The Song of Achilles while alone because I sobbed and sobbed. Can’t remember another time I did this in recent times.
Book That Made You Laugh
I can’t deny that Red, White and Royal Blue evoked all kinds of emotions in me, but one prominent one was just lots of laughter. This was an immensely joyful read.
Character You’d Like To Be For a Day

Aelin is one of my favorite characters from fantasy and I would love to be her for a day, but only after the events of Kingdom of Ash.
Books So Good You Dreamt About It
Hungry Hearts is a beautiful book but I mostly just dreamt about the yummy food featured in it.
Book You DNF’d
I DNF a lot and I don’t even keep track of them, but An Enchantment of Ravens comes to mind because despite not enjoying this one, I completely adored the author’s sophomore novel Sorcery of Thorns.
What Book Are You Excited to Read
After the amazing experience that was The Bone Witch trilogy, I can’t wait to read the author’s upcoming release The Never Tilting World.

Thanks so much for the tag, sorry for answering so late! This tag is super cute and I love your answers! My favorite duology would also be Six of Crows because, well, it’s a literary masterpiece! And I also loved Throne of Glass, although I have only read the first book, but definetely continue! And five years ago, my favorite series would also have been Harry Potter!
I’m very excited to do this tag, I hope I’ll be able to get to it soon! Happy reading!

I know right… I recently listened to Crooked Kingdom again and planning to read RWRB soon too… I just can’t get over them 😂😂😂
I wanted to like Dine with me so much.. it wasn’t bad, just a bit boring.. but the food descriptions were out of the world 😋

Agreed on Six Of Crows. Very interesting that Enchantment of Ravens and Sorcery Of Thorns received such a different reaction, both are in my TBR.
