Summer Bucket List Book Tag

This tag probably would have been appropriate at the beginning of Summer, but Siobhan @ Novelties tagged me recently and I guess it’s not too bad to end the season with it either ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you so much for tagging me Siobhan and you should all checkout their blog for some absolutely wonderful bookish stuff.

The Rules:

  • Link back to theย original creatorย in your post.
  • Feel free to use any of my graphics in your post, or create your own!
  • Tag 5 other people at the end of your post, and let them know youโ€™ve tagged them.

Hit the Beach | A Book Set by the Water

And then there were none

I actually don’t seem to have read a lot of books set by water, but I then realized this book is actually on an isolated island, so I guess it works. And Then There Were None also happens to be my first Agatha Christie, so it was an experience.

Watch Fireworks | A Book That Has a Fiery Romance

Other than the fact that Priory has fiery dragons (pun fully intended), I thought the romance between Ead and Sabran was quiet and fiery too.

Go for a Road Trip | A Book That Involves a Journey

The Merciful Crow

I just finished this book a few weeks ago and it has a very interesting journey, and I felt like I was traveling along with the characters all the time.

Camp under the Stars | A Book That Left You Star Struck

red white and royal blue

Red White and Royal Blue has totally left me star struck this year and I keep rereading it every month because it’s just too adorable.

Marathon Some Movies | A Book You Couldnโ€™t Put Down

Not just Shadow Glass, I just couldn’t put the entire trilogy down because it’s brilliantly written.

Go Out for Ice Cream | A Book with a Sweet Romance

One Giant Leap

Another book I keep talking about, One Giant Leap is the sweetest romance I’ve read this year. And it has a unique space travel setting, so that’s a bonus.

Picnic in the Park | A Book That Was a Breath of Fresh Air

I finished reading this one recently as well and was pleasantly surprised at how different it was from my usual fantasy choices. It was very unique and not YA, but also managed to not make me feel out of my comfort zone, so it’s quickly become a favorite.

Go for a Hike | A Character Who Conquered an Obstacle

It’s not just one character, but all the women in Erotic Stories overcome some kind of obstacle in their life and learn to stand up for themselves and express their desires and opinions.

Grill Some BBQ | A Book Featuring Delicious Food

Dine With Me

I may have not enjoyed this book a lot, but the food in Dine With Me is just delicious and decadent and all round amazing.

Watch the Sunrise | A Book That Inspired You

Yes She Can

Not just me, I think this book can be a great inspiration for any young woman who wants to go into public service and wants to know about others who are ahead of them on the same path. The passion that all the writers of this book have is really awesome.

I’m feeling a bit tired today, so I wont be tagging anyone. But if you find this interesting, please go ahead and do it, and link back to me so that I know all about your favorite books too.

  2. The romance between Ead and Sabran was subtle for most of the book, but it was still very fiery all the time and when it lighted up, I swear there were real flames!
I’m hoping to reread Red, White and Royal Blue as well and I’m glad you’ve been enjoying it this much!

  3. Oh, you mustโ€™ve put a lot of thought into this tag, Sahi. Iโ€™m grappling trying to figure out which of the books I read fit under these headings.

Love it, Sahi! Iโ€™m definitely going to check out the Bone Witch series. This is maybe the second or third time Iโ€™m seeing it feature in your tags!
