Upcoming 2020 Releases by my Favorite Authors

As an avid reader, I’m always on the lookout for amazing books to read. But the safest and surefire way for that to happen is to wait for the upcoming releases from some of my most favorite authors. And 2020 seems very promising in that aspect, because so many of these wonderful people are coming out with new books and I can’t wait to devour them all. Some of these are brand new series, and others are highly anticipated sequels – but I just wanted to share them all with you.

This is most definitely my top most anticipated release of 2020 because I adored Foundryside and I can’t wait to see what happens next. The wait has already been too excruciating and I just want this in my hands.

The Invisible Library series has been one of the most fun and entertaining adventure series I’ve ever read and when I saw the announcement of the new book, I was completely ecstatic and I’m eagerly awaiting to meet Irene, Kai and Vale again.

Cozy mysteries are not my thing in general, but The Secret, Book and Scone society has a special place in my heart and I’m all excited to visit Miracle Springs again very soon.

I loved getting introduced to the three Singh brothers in The Takeover Effect and am very excited to read the next love story in this trilogy.

I may have read both Shadow of the Fox and Soul of the Sword this year, but they have quickly become my favorites and I adore Yumeko with all my heart. And I’m very sure Night of the Dragon is gonna be very explosive.

Wicked Saints was a fascinating read and I completely fell in love with Nadya and Malaschiasz’s love story, but after that mind blowing ending, I can’t wait to see how they handle it all and what’s gonna happen to Serefin.

We Set the Dark on Fire was an amazing book with the most fierce sapphic couple and after that kind of cliffhanger-y ending, I just want to know whats gonna happen to these wonderful women.

The Right Swipe was an awesome romance novel and I am now doubly excited for Katrina’s love story.

I didn’t even know until a few weeks ago that Rae Carson was releasing a new book in this world, but I’m overjoyed with this news. Though it’s taking place a few years after the ending of The Bitter Kingdom and follows new characters, I am mostly just waiting for a little glimpse of Elisa and Hector.

Another series that I just discovered this year but has become a favorite is Jade City. And I can’t wait to see what more the author has in store for us in the finale.

I absolutely adored Heated Rivalry, so I can’t wait to read another hockey romance by the author. Hopefully, this will be just as fun.

While I adored The Start of Me and You, I’m a bit skeptical about this one and don’t know if I will actually read it. Let’s just wait and see what my mood will decide.

A boarding school setting, enemies-to-lovers, Beauty and Beast retelling, Indian royalty – it feels like Sandhya has written the book of my dreams and I can’t express my excitement for this one. I’m also a member of the street team and have the ARC, so that’s just icing on the cake.

Rin Chupeco is a new to me author this year, but she is now definitely on my auto-buy list and I can’t wait to get into this new urban fantasy world of hers. I’m also a member of the street team, and I can’t tell you how loudly I shrieked when I received that email.

I won’t deny SJM writes wonderful characters and that cover is gorgeous, but this premise is not very compelling. But never say never, coz I have a feeling I won’t be able to stop myself from picking it up soon after the release.

Infernal Devices is one of my favorite series by Cassie Clare, so it’s even more exciting to read the stories of my favorite characters and their children. If the little short stories we have gotten till now are anything to go by, this book is going to be fantastic.

I may not have loved all of Becky’s books but her writing is a lot of fun, and this book takes place during an election campaign, so it sounds right up my alley. I can’t wait to give it a try.

Do you have any of these books on your TBR? How excited are you for them? What are some of your most anticipated releases of 2020? Share all the details with me in the comments below….
