Too Much Information Book Tag

I love tags where I get to talk about different kinds of favorites from books and also which make me think a lot. So, when I saw this tag done by Joleen @ Starlight Book Tales, I knew I had to do it too. I had so much fun reading their answers and you should also checkout their blog for more fun bookish content. Now let’s get started and see what I have to say.

1. WHAT FICTIONAL CHARACTER HAS THE BEST STYLE?

I have to agree with Joleen on this one.. It has to be Magnus Bane. And I can’t even think of anyone else after watching Harry Shum Jr. portray him so wonderfully on the TV show.

2. YOUR BOOK GIRLFRIEND/BOYFRIEND/ FICTIONAL CRUSH?

Jasvinder from Girl Gone Viral. He is such an amazing love interest and now I just want all book boyfriends to be like him.

3. EVER LOVED A CHARACTER BUT THEN STARTED HATING THEM?

Brenna from the Playbook series. She was my favorite side character in the first two books, but she annoyed me so much in her own story Blitzed and that was a disappointment.

4. BIGGEST/LONGEST BOOK ON YOUR SHELF?

According to Goodreads, the Kindle edition of Words of Radiance is the longest book on my bookshelf. Actually all three of them are mammoths.

5. HEAVIEST BOOK ON YOUR SHELF?

My two collectible editions of Complete Jane Austen and Complete Sherlock Holmes have to be some of the heaviest books I own.

6. DO YOU HAVE ANY BOOK POSTERS?

I have a map of the Grishaverse up on my wall and I love it.

7. DO YOU HAVE ANY BOOK THEMED JEWELRY?

I don’t think I have any but would love to buy something.

8. BOOK OTP?

No one has knocked off Alex and Henry from RWRB off my top OTP list yet.

9. FAVORITE BOOK SERIES?

 

From last year, it has to be The Bone Witch trilogy.

10. FAVORITE BOOK-TO-MOVIE SOUNDTRACK?

I don’t listen to a lot of music, so I wouldn’t know any soundtracks. But even I couldn’t escape the catchiness of “Toss a Coin to the Witcher” from The Witcher TV show.

11. A BOOK STORY YOU MISS/ WISH WOULD CONTINUE?

Another answer where I agree with Joleen. I wish Leigh would write more books in the Six of Crows universe and soon.

12. FAVORITE STAND-ALONE?

Sorcery of Thorns is the most fun I’ve had reading a standalone in a while.

13. SINCE WHEN DID YOU READ BOOKS?

Since I was probably 5 or 6. As an introvert, books have always been my friends.

14. WHICH HOGWARTS HOUSE ARE YOU IN?

Hufflepuff.

15. QUALITY YOU LOOK FOR IN A BOOK?

Characters I feel connected to.

So many ughhhh…. Rin Chupeco. Leigh Bardugo. Robert Jackson Bennett. Sandhya Menon. Alisha Rai and many more.

18. FAVORITE BOOK COVER?

From my highly anticipated sequels of this year, I absolutely adore the cover of A Rogue of One’s Own.

19. ACTION OR ROMANCE?

Ohh I love both. That’s one deadly combo.

20. WHERE DO YOU GO WHEN A SAD MOMENT HAPPENS?

Definitely try to be alone and cry a little.

21. HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO FINISH A BOOK?

It depends on the book. If I’m really liking it, shouldn’t take me more than a day..

22. HOW LONG IS YOUR MOURNING PERIOD?

Ohh I can go a few days without reading because I’m not in the mood or just in a slump. But I try not to go for more than a week if I can help it.

23. LEAST FAVORITE BOOK?

There’s one from last year but I don’t wanna talk about it anymore.

24. TURN ON IN A CHARACTER?

Kind and compassionate.

25. TURN OFF IN A CHARACTER?

Being a bully.

26. REASON I STARTED BLOGGING?

I wanted to process all my thoughts about the books I was reading and also hopefully remember them better.

27. NAME A SCARY BOOK?

I’m not a horror genre reader but one dystopian called The Test really scared me with it’s concept.

28.LAST BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY?

 

Definitely Night of the Dragon. There was so much to cry about in it.

29.LAST BOOK THAT YOU GAVE 5 STARS?

Without repeating the book from the previous question, the last book I gave 5 stars has to be Stamped. It was absolutely brilliant and I would consider it a must read for everyone.

30.ANY FAVORITE BOOK TITLES?

I love the title Upright Women Wanted.

31. LAST BOOK YOU READ?

I just finished it 2 days ago and it was so lovely and just what I needed.

32. BOOK YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?

After waiting for too long, I’ve finally started The Tiger at Midnight.

33. LAST BOOK ADAPTATION YOU WATCHED? 

The Witcher but I have only read the two short story collections yet and need to continue with the novels.

34. A BOOK CHARACTER YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO TALK TO?

Definitely Aelin and Dorian from Throne of Glass.

35. AN AUTHOR YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO TALK TO?

Leigh Bardugo.

36.FAVORITE BOOK SNACK?

Maybe Pita chips. I can eat a lot of them while reading without even realizing the quantity.

37. BOOK WORLD YOU WANT TO LIVE IN?

I want to visit the Great Libraries in Austermeer, Sorcery of Thorns.

38. BOOK WORLD YOU DON’T WANT TO LIVE IN?

Ketterdam from Six of Crows. I love my babies but I don’t think I can survive there.

Not recently.

I can’t really recall.

Red, White and Royal Blue… duh!

As I said, I don’t listen to music much, especially not while reading.

Hmm my memory is horrible and I can’t think of any.

No way!

48.FAVORITE BOOK FANDOM?

Maybe Grishaverse. I’m not actually much of a fandom person.

49. HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU OWN?

I don’t know, about 350 maybe, but most of them are ebooks.
