Indian Lit Readathon + Trope-ical Readathon : TBR

I have been in a bad reading slump for a long time now and have only started reading a little in the past few days. So, what do I do as soon as I pick up some books finally… sign up for readathons ofcourse :D. Let’s just get into the details.

This is the third year that my dearest friends are hosting the Indian Lit Readathon which starts today and I’m so excited to participate in it. This edition, we have different roles we can choose from and read books which fulfil the prompts for that particular role.

You can find all the details for the readathon at their twitter page : IndianLitReadathon.

I have chosen the role of Diplomat for which I have to read books written by Indian diaspora authors, and this is perfect for me because I have so many of them on my TBR. I’m gonna try and read these below 4 books in the week of the readathon and I hope I can finish all of them.

This is the next readathon I am participating which is gonna run for the whole month of August, so I’m hoping I can be very relaxed being a part of this.

There are many rules and teams for the readathon and you can find all the details at their twitter account : Trope-ical Readathon.

The common challenges for the readathon are as below:

I had a fun time choosing my TBR for these prompts. I have decided not to attempt to complete all of them and just read whatever I’m in the mood for and below are some of the books I’ve chosen.

We also have the option to choose teams which are all based on genres and I have decided to be part of Science Fiction/Fantasy.

I am definitely up for the Team Book but I am not sure I can read for the other two team prompts. This is my tentative TBR for now:

Are you participating in either of these two readathons? Are you interested? And if any of these books are on your TBR as well and you wanna buddy read them with me, do let me know in the comments below and we can make a plan. And Happy Reading everyone !!!!!
