Nakshatra Book Tag

Today on the day of the release of the gorgeous desi debut, Star Daughter, I’m so excited to bring you the Nakshatra book tag which has been created based on the story. If you are interested to read an urban fantasy based on Hindu mythology which is brimming with all things desi, you should totally checkout this book because it was quite fun to read.

Now, let’s get to the tag πŸ™‚

I really respect and adore Alisha Rai a lot because she is an amazing advocate for the romance genre and diversity in publishing, her social media game is absolutely entertaining and I also love her takes on various other media trends. You really should follow her on twitter @AlishaRai if you arent yet.

Who can be more protective than a SecUnit? Murderbot might not like interacting with humans but it will also do anything to protect them and make the villains suffer. I loved Network Effect so much because I finally got to read a full length novel about this adorable bot.

I’ll be very honest, I couldn’t even think beyond The Untamed because I have spent the last many months during this pandemic watching Wei Ying play the flute and Lan Zhan play the guqin. What can be more musical than one character composing a love song for his beloved and naming it with their ship name. Adorable !!!!

I really really wanna go to Svargalot. It’s described beautifully in the book and every second we spent in it was magical. I really wish I could travel there.

I really really loved Laia from the Ember in the Ashes series and she is definitely one of my favorite heroes from recent times. She is forced into a dangerous path due to her circumstances but she is so brave and I adore her.

The Tensorate series has some of the most gorgeous world building I’ve read in recent times and it’s very unforgettable. All I hope now is that we get many many more books in this world, because I’m not ready to let go.

I Tag:

All my friends who buddy read this along with me during the Indian Lit readathon …. Dany || Thya || Mathangi || Sim || Ahana || Anyone else who is interested πŸ™‚

  1. Omg YES to WangXian!!!!! LWJ composing that song, and then WWX playing it but not actually realising what he was playing….argh it makes my heart heart in both good and bad ways. I also completely agree with Laia from AEITA. I get annoyed because I feel like she cops alot of flack from readers because she isn’t an Aelin or Delilah Bard. But she is such a wonderful character because she is flawed and learns from her mistakes and gets tougher in the process. And the Tensorate series looks right up my alley, I have added it to my tbr!!! Great post!!

Laia really deserves a lot more love, and I say that as someone who loves Aelin too…
and you should totally checkout the Tensorate novellas.. I promise they are unlike anything you would’ve read and I just keep hoping the author writes more in the world…
